Soloevent.id – Every Lunar New Year, Solo is decorated with thousands of lanterns. Not only in the Pasar Gede area, the excitement of welcoming the Chinese New Year is also felt in many places, one of which is Novotel and Ibis Style Solo.
Two hotels located on Jl. Gajah Mada will present a typical Chinese menu themed “Feast of Prosperity” and “Fortune of Prosperity Brunch”.
The Chinese New Year at Novotel Solo will be held at the Andrawina Restaurant, starting at 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Only IDR 188,000 nett/pax, guests can sample more than 100 selected menus typical of Chinese New Year. This gala dinner can be enjoyed in indoor and outdoor.
The menu includes Roasted Pecking Duck, dimsum Home, salt pepper shrimp, Kue Mantau, 15 appetizer menus, and of course Classic Yu Sheng Salad. For those who haven’t, Yu Sheng is a mandatory food during Chinese New Year. This food, if eaten together with family, is believed to be able to give blessings and abundant sustenance.
In addition to enjoying typical Chinese menus, guests will also be entertained by lion dance shows, live music Chinese songs, free fortune tellers, and picking angpau.
While the Chinese New Year celebration at Ibis Styles Solo will be centered at Streats Restaurant. The event themed “Fortune of Prosperity Brunch” was held on February 5, 2019, starting at 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
“Especially this year we present the Chinese New Year brunch menu with a variety of Chinese specialties and a special heating lamp stall that serves Roasted Chicken with Mushroom Sauce,” said FB Manager Novotel and Ibis Styles Solo, Rudi Tan, when launching the two programs at Novotel Solo, Monday (1/28/2019).
