Soloevent.id – Maulfi Ikhsan and Tendi Achmad Hidayat have been friends since high school. Then, they continued to study at the same campus. A reason Feel Koplo created, the friendship.
FYI, Feel Koplo is an electronic music group who remixes Indonesian and Westerns songs into Dangdut Koplo.
“I used to remix any music until he invited me to do this project,” said Tendi to media at Narendra Restaurant, The Sunan Hotel Solo, on Thursday (06/27/2019).
People probably thought again to enjoy Dangdut Koplo. However, for Tendi and Ikhsan Dangdut Koplo has united them.
“I do like Dangdut songs, but I have never remixed it before.”The first time when I did that, it sounds funny for me,” said Tendi.
After being well-known with their music, they still didn’t think to make an album yet. But focus on getting licenses and copyrights to original musicians. Tendi and Ikhsan don’t want to get a penalty in the future for bringing songs of other singers/bands. They will make original works and collaborate with several singers after dealing with the copyrights.
Now, Feel Koplo schedule was already busy. They scheduled in Yogyakarta, Salatiga, Magelang, Bali, and others. They didn’t expect the enthusiasm of fans to be enormous. On Thursday (6/27/2019) night, they were guest stars in Musro The Sunan Hotel, Musro Van Java.
In July 2019, Feel Koplo will hold a tour in six cities of Sumatra. Starting from Medan and finishing in Lampung.
