Soloevent.id – The 12th Solo Batik Carnival (SBC) will hold on July 2019. The committee already prepared pre-event and workshop.
The pre-event will hold more than one time. But for workshop it will hold every Sunday at 9.00 am in Taman Balekambang. In workshop, participant and volunteer will get courses about fashion carnival, custom and its accessories, and many more.
Saturday (13/4/2019), Committee of Solo Batik Carnival 2019 held pre-event II at 3rd floor of Solo Grand Mall. The event starts with fashion show that display SBC custom for last year. There were 8 parade displayed, such as Batik Jawa Dwipa (Jawa Tengah), Nagari Minangkabau (Sumatera Barat), Lenggang Batavia (Betawi), Dayak Borneo (Kalimantan Timur), Janger Dewata (Bali), Sasando Timur (NTT), Tana Sajojo (Papua), and Mapalili Mamiri (Sulawesi Selatan).
After fashion show, there were tari Sakrak which brought from Purwodadi. That traditional reflected about human should take care of nature, one of them is not littering. Then, also Sufi dance which is danced by 3 people. Sufi dance is a form of active meditation with your body and bringing by sufism.
“This event was hold to inaugurate the Solo Batik Carnival 2019. We also shared for SBC theme, ‘Suvarnabhumi,” said Public Relation of Solo Batik Carnival 2019 Mumtah.
