Soloevent.id – Chinese New Year cannot be separated from the lion dance performance. When Lunar New Year arrives, liong and barongsai attractions expected. To celebrate the 2569/2018 Chinese New Year, Solo Grand Mall (SGM) will hold a liong and barongsai performance. The event starts on Friday (02/16/2018) at 13.00 WIB.
As in previous years, the mall located on Jl. Slamet Riyadi collaborates with Tripusaka Solo to act to entertain the visitors. The Lion Dance and Liong group will present the Lion Dance milestone attraction.
Barongsai milestones are one type of lion dance that relies on strength, agility, and compactness of a pair of lion dance players. Accompanied by ambiguous music, two players will act on high iron posts.
In addition, Tripusaka Solo will also be presenting a lion dance parade and a male and female liong parade.
The main attraction (barongsai tonggak) will be held at the lobby of the Solo Grand Mall. Not only that, the lion and liong players will also surround every floor of the mall to pick up the items provided by the tenants. “The visitors can give Angpau to the Lion Dance,” wrote the Solo Grand Mall Public Relations, Ni Wayan Ratrina, in a release.
To welcome this Chinese New Year SGM are also decorated with lanterns.
