Soloevent.id – In the second month of 2018, Bentara Budaya Balai Soedjatmoko as an art space, held a variety of activities such as exhibitions, book operations, musical performances, and others. Well, here is the agenda for February 2018 at Bentara Budaya Balai Soedjatmoko, Solo.
- Talk show Melampaui Citra & Ingatan (February 2, 19.30 WIB)
Bambang Bujono, an art writer, has a career since 1968. The book consists of 101 writings in five chapters and features 38 photos, artists, and the atmosphere of this exhibition featuring views of Bambu (Bambang Bujono’s greetings) on art events throughout 1968-2017. The former journalist from Tempo Magazine will discuss his book with Albertus “Titus” Rusputranto, Setyawan, and moderated by Halim HD.
- Anis Kurniasih’s Exhibition Fabula (February 7-12, 09.00-21.00 WIB)
In Latin, “fabula” means drama is telling something narratively. Through Fabula’s exhibition, Anis Kurniasih wanted to illustrate that nature was no longer natural due to human intervention. Anis’s opposition emerged through the drama of the life by mutant animals.
Fabula exhibition will open on February 6th.
- Keroncong Bale (9 February, 19.30 WIB)
Keroncong group from Sekarpace Village, Keroncong Orchestra (OK) Sekar Nada, will be the guest star in this edition. This seven-year-old music group is a place for Sekarpace villagers to channel their musical interests. Not only parents, young people also began to like keroncong.
Since its establishment, OK Sekar Nada has performed at Joglo Sriwedari and Central Java Cultural Park, filling in weddings and various other events.
- Concert Music Cerita Buat Lila (14 Februariai, 19.30 WIB)
This concert was presented by Jodhi Yudono to his late wife, Violi Lila. Jodhi composed songs from his written poems and other poets such as WS Rendra and Chairil Anwar will be brought with Noorca Massardi, Rayni N. Massardi, Rumah Balada Indonesia (RBI), and other musicians.
Jodhi – who once made the album Satu Hati with Iwan Fals, Doel Soembang, Trie Utami – wrote “Stories for Lila” when his wife was still alive. This poem is like lullaby.
- Macapat Soedjatmakan (19 February, 19.30 WIB)
Rapan Gandrung Kusuma’s fiber written by KRM Arya Wuryaningrat will be developed on this occasion.
- Blues on Stage “Blues in Love” (February 22, 19.30 WIB)
Bands and the blues community in Solo, for example Blues Brothers, Solo Blues Rock, West Brother, Farinela, will sing blues songs with love themes. The theme of “Blues in Love” was chosen because February is identical to the month of love.
- Senvisual Exhibition (February 25-28, 09.00-21.00 WIB)
Sahid Surakarta University Visual Communication Design (DKV) student held exhibition with “Gratis Berlokalisasi” as theme. Creative design and visual works that are displayed have something that tempts and inspires people’s sense of the world of DKV.
Senvisual – the exhibition will open on February 24 – will also hold an illustration workshop and three talk shows, namely photography, brand clothing, icon animation and pictogram
