That afternoon, eight groups from SGM’s management, tenants, and business partners competed in Panjat Pinang. For those who manage to climb to the top must raise the Red and White flag. After that, you can make a gift. The prizes included three bicycle units, a dispenser, hotel vouchers, XXI vouchers, mugs, and wall clocks.
Panjat Pinang is a routine agenda to celebrate the Republic of Indonesia’s Independence Day at SGM Mall. General Manager of Solo Grand Mall, Bambang Sunarko, explained that the competition postponed because of the Indonesian Great Sale Solo centered on SGM.
This event attended by SGM employers and business partners. “Three years ago this event opens to the public but they were good at it, our team often lost. Finally, we decided that only the employer and business partners were involved. Through this event we want to increase cohesiveness while enlivening the 74th Anniversary of Indonesian,” Bambang said on Wednesday.
The competition held for two days on Wednesday-Thursday (28-29 / 8/2019). On the second day, there were 17 competitions, such as marbles racing, relay t-shirts, relay flour competition, and eating crackers competition.
This event was supported by a culinary festival followed by nine booths. They serve traditional and contemporary cuisine.
