They came wearing the typical regions clothes of Indonesia.
The General Manager of The Sunan Hotel Solo Retno Wulandari in her speech explained that this routine event was packaged casually but inspiringly.
That afternoon, the talk show presented three Solo women as keynote speakers, R.Ay Febri Dipokusumo as trainers and motivators and the Chief Executive of Putra Putri Solo; Irawati Kusumoasri as Director of Solo International Performing Arts; and Retno Wulandari as General Manager of The Sunan Hotel Solo.
The topics discussed are the role of women in society, the importance of education, and women in leadership.
As a millennial motivator and trainer, Febri believes that women must have a role and contribute to society. The role can be started from the family environment, how to involve children in family activities.
“Involving children in every activity is participated to create outstanding generations. Therefore, women must be role models for children, both biological children and students in an organization,” she explained.
Regarding education, Irawati emphasized that education is an important thing for a woman. Education can train two aspects, inner and outer. Two things are important to have tolerance and responsibility in the community or society, and understand that what we have is from the Almighty.
Leadership is discussed by Retno. As a General Manager who leads 80% of men as employees, she always puts professional first. There is no discrimination about gender when running the business. In fact, Retno has a vision to create new female leaders because that is the standard of a leader.
