Soloevent.id – Welcoming the New Year of 2019, Best Western Premier Solo Baru held The Incredible Night Magical New Year Eve Parade, presenting magician Demian Aditya, on Monday (12/31/2018).
At 22.00 WIB, Demian started the show. “Hello, guys. I will invite you all to my world.” he said. Demian often performs extreme magic, so he always makes the audience nervous.
Russian Roulette is the first treat. In this game, Demian invited five spectators to the stage. In front of them, there are five paper bags, one of them contain a sharp knife. He was asked to put their hands on the bag.
One by one the volunteer hit the bag in front of them. Only remain two bags. The spectators fell more tense and excited, but there is no knife on it, so they can take a breath.
The next show, Demian who was once the America’s Got Talent contestant displayed a shadow illusion. Stage lighting dimmed. One volunteer was invited to the stage and blindfolded. The screen shows the shadow of the volunteer. Demian began to play the illusion of a shadow. Through the shadow, Demian managed to move the volunteer’s hand.
For closing, Sara Wijayanto’s husband performed a divination magic trick. Previously, a sign bearing a message had been prepared. Demian asked several volunteer to randomly mention a few words.
Everything mentioned by the volunteer is combined and forms a message. Then the prepared board is opened and the contents of the message are same as what the volunteer said. “It’s time to say sempurna.” said Demian, accompanied by audience applause.
Besides Demian, the 2019 New Year celebration at the Best Western Premier Solo Baru was also enlivened by Amazone Dance, DJs performed by DJ Nexa & DJ Ayu As, top 40 bands by Insomnia, Magic Parade by Robby Constantine, fashion shows by Rhiana Putri, and firework party.
