Soloevent.id – Many ways to make other people happy when Ramadan arrives. One of them is done by The Sunan Hotel Solo. Monday (5/28/2018) before iftar, the hotel management invited 30 orphans from the Yatim Al Ihsan Islamic Boarding School, Jajar, Laweyan, around Solo to take the Werkudara bus.
The children looked happy. When they arrived on the bus, they ran around here and there. When the bus was running, they seemed amazed with the view of Solo from the top floor of the Werkudara bus. “Be careful, don’t take your body out of the bus” said a Werkudara’ guide to the children.
From The Sunan Hotel, the children were invited to De Tjolomadoe, Karanganyar. The final goal was the official residence of the Mayor of Solo, Loji Gandrung. While waiting for the time to break their fast, they were entertained by Islamic tales brought by Ustaz Mustaqin. Nguber Dhuafa: Ngabuburit Bersama Kaum Dhuafa was closed by iftar with the Mayor of Solo, F.X. Hadi Rudyatmo, and Maghrib prayer in congregation.
General Manager of The Sunan Hotel Solo, Retno Wulandari, said that this party deliberately conceptualized of ngabuburit event and social action with a different approach. “This is not just a courtesy, but also a historical tour. Because we want to provide experience and knowledge that is useful to them.” She explained. Retno hopes this event can be a memory and provide an unforgettable positive experience for the orphans involved.
