Soloevent.id – The impact of ash rain that occurred yesterday (Friday, February 14th, 2014) caused Solo and its surroundings ‘turn to white’. The streets in Solo covered in ash due to eruption of Mount Kelud. This turned out to have an impact on the Solo agenda. There will be several Solo agendas held. One of them is the 2014 Solo Jenang Festival in Ngarsopuro which draws a lot of people’s attention. This Solo Jenang Festival is in the framework of the 269th Solo Anniversary.
The Solo City Government on its official website announced that “The series of events welcoming the 269th Solo City Anniversary experienced many cancellations as a result of the eruption of Mount Kelud and the ash rain which hit Solo, the Solo Jenang Festival in Ngarsopuro which was held 2 days from 16-17 February 2014 cancelled, while the Grand Gamelan Concert which will be held tonight will be packaged in the form of SOLO PEDULI VICTIMS OF KELUD MOUNTAIN DISASTER, while the Solo Carnival which was scheduled to be held on Sunday (16/2) night was also cancelled.
