The event was held by Tsabita Halal Boga and the first event in Solo was attended by 50 tenants who had received halal certification from the Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI). There are also culinary machine products that are sold.

Chairman of the Halal Food Festival Committee, Ririn Ekawati, said through this event Tsabita wanted to educate public about halal food. “Halal food has a vast meaning. But we explain, starting from the ingredients, processing to the halal sales and later there will also be an explanation of how to get halal certification from the MUI,” she said when met by Soloevent.

When opening the Halal Food Festival, one of the Owners Tsabita Fitri Sundari explained that halal culinary trends are now increasingly sought after by public. People begin to look at food with halal labels for daily consumption. “People have begun to realize the halal food they consume. Education about halal food is still lacking, so in this case we also collaborate with MUI,” she said.
