Soloevent.id – Oriental Circus Indonesia (OCI) will hold a show at the Sentra Niaga Solo Baru. This circus group will present new attractions to replace animal attractions.
“This time is no more animal attractions. We have different attractions. There are acrobatics, clowns, trapeze action, juggling, and bicycle wheels with music, dance, and sound effects. It will be fresher and more interesting. Something new will be plain,” said Managing Director of Ananta Harsa Group (AHG) Hans Manansang as the organizer of The Great 50 Show, during a press conference at The Park Mall Solo, on Wednesday (7/31/2019).
Go along with Oriental Circus Indonesia 50th anniversary, a showcase of the Great 50 Show will rollout. Ananta explained that the Great 50 Show is a celebration of excitement, cooperation, and artistic diversity.
Classic and modern circus combines with new technology.
OCI will bring Josh Kunze, a singer and circus guide. The Indonesian-German singer who is also fluent in Indonesian will present attractions such as in the film The Greatest Showman with Indonesian style with Oriental Circus Indonesia.
The Greatest Showman premiere will be on Friday (2/8/2019). The tickets start from IDR 50 thousand to IDR 250 thousand at www.thegreat50show.com or Traveloka on July 31, 2019. The performances are as follows: Tuesday-Thursday (7:00 p.m.); Friday (4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.); Saturday-Sunday (1:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.). This event lasts until September 8, 2019.
Oriental Circus Indonesia is the first circus group in Indonesia. OCI established in 1967 by people who had hobbies and love of acrobatic art. In its journey, OCI has represented Indonesia several times in the international level Acrobatic Art Festival.
In 1996, OCI managed to make Indonesia famous in the International Acrobatic competition in Wuhan-China by winning the Extraordinary Cup for the Indonesian delegation. OCI has traveled to several regions in Indonesia and held shows with international circus groups, such as circus groups from the United States, Britain, China, Italy, and India.
