Soloevent.id – Fourtwnty’s band career is rising. Their gig schedule is fairly solid. One of them is on Sunday (08/19/2018), they will perform at The Sunan Hotel Solo in the Fourtwnty Live in Concert event.

There are three people in Fourtwnty, namely Ari Lesmana, Nuwi, and Roots. However, when they appeared to the public only featured Ari (vocalist) and Nuwi (guitarist). They rarely appear in a complete formation.
People suspect that Roots is Roby Satria aka Roby Geisha. However, this was denied by Roby. FYI, the Geisha’s guitarist was the person who formed Fourtwnty on April 20, 2010. He was also a producer, music director and composer for the Jakarta-based band.
Carrying acoustic folk, Fourtwnty will spoil his listeners in relaxed and comfortable tones, especially coupled with poetic lyrics. Their songs don’t only talk about romance, but also tolerance, love of nature, understanding of the heavens and the earth, love, friendship, and family.
In 2015 Fourtwnty released their first album titled Lelaku. This album defines peace, tolerance and diversity.
Their names are increasingly known to people after “Zona Nyaman”. The song is easy listening but has a deep meaning that has also become the original soundtrack of Filosofi Kopi 2: Ben & Jody, which aired in 2017.
One of the triumphs of the Fourtwnty band was winning the “Best Newcomer” award at the 2018 Indonesian Choice Awards.
