Soloevent.id – Annually, Solo Batik Carnival has different theme. Last year, they took “Mustika Jawa Dwipa”. Typically Indonesia Region, such as Central Java, Kalimantan, Papua, East Sumatera was displayed as costume.
How about 2019?
Public relation of Solo Batik Carnival 2019, Mumtah said this 12 edition will take “Suvarnabhumi: The Golden of ASEAN” as theme. There will be 10 parade followed by Grand Carnival. The 10 parade will wear costume which reflected to Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapura, Thailand, Philipina, Brunei Darusalam, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Kambodia typical.
Even though using ASEAN as a theme, but SBC custom is still dressing with batik. In pre-event that held on Saturday (13/4/2019) at Solo Grand Mall, also introduce 10 instructors that will accommodate each parade and create the costum. The instructor have experienced on it, somehow, take in Jogja Fashion Week exhibition.
One of them, Ilham, he will take care of Vietnam parade. “I as one of the instructor that hold Vietnam parade, I will show my works up at Solo Batik Carnival 2019,” he said at pre-event.

For planning, Grand Carnival Solo Batik Carnival XII will be held on July, 27 2019 via Sriwedari stadium -Benteng Vastenburg.
Solo Batik Carnival is an annually event that hold by Solo City Government. As named before, batik is the main object to use as custom. SBC firstly held at 2008 and now it already goes to 12.
