Soloevent.id – Last October, Pasar Legi Solo caught fire. The fire was gobbled the north and west sides of the market and caused traders lose their place.

Because of it, the cross-photography community Solo held an exhibition themed “Pasar Legi” at Rumah Banjarsari, on December 18-23 2018. There were 40 works from various photographic genres on display.

One of them is Awan Kinton’s. He described a woman who was carrying her merchandise when the words “Pasar Legi” were still intact behind her. The photo was taken before the fire occurred.

Above the photo there is another frame that shows the porter woman. The difference is, the photo background shows the Pasar Legi already destroyed by fire. The two picture above tells even the fire damaged Pasar Legi, it will never broke their spirit to stand up.

Argian Putra, exhibition organizers, said that Pasar Legi was chosen as a theme to recall activities that occur in Pasar Legi.

In addition to the exhibition, there are several series of events, such as “Discuss about Street Photography with Mas Awan Kinton”, “Discussion and Workshop with Mas Ade Rizal”, model photo hunting, and hunting street photography.
