Soloevent.id – On Saturday (6/22/2019), Saloka Theme Park, the amusement park in Tuntang, Semarang Regency had a grand opening.
Various performances are held from the evening to celebrate it. One of the performers is The Rain. The Yogyakarta-based band performed after Lady Percussion who performs artistically.
They began their performance with Gagal Bersembunyi song. “How are you? This is an honor to play here. Matur nuwun, Saloka!” Said Indra Prasta, the Rain vocalist.
The Rain put “Sepanjang Jalan Kenangan” into the list. This old song sang by Tety Kadi (which covered by the Rain in the album Jingga, Senja, and Deru Hujan) to make the audience sing together.
The band consisting of Indra Prasta (vocal/guitar), Aang Anggoro (drums), Ipul Bahri (bass), and Iwan Tanda (vocal/guitar) also performed Don’t Look Back in Anger by Oasis.
There were seven songs by the Rain that night. For closing, The Rain sang Terlatih Patah Hati. The duet song with Endank Soekamti was successfully light up the audience.
Since 2001, this band has released six albums. The newest news is they released Upaya Maksimal. This solid band already has 17 years career. Komik Cihuy Anak Band was released in 2010 to complete their journey.
