Soloevent.id – Metal band, Logamulia, on February 7, 2019, just released its first single titled “Musuh Publik”. The two personnel are from bass and drummer of Payung Teduh, Aziz Turhan Kariko or Comi and Alejandro “Cito” Saksakame.
Logamulia was formed by Comi. The man born on February 24, 1984, turned out to be a metal boy. He likes to listen to metal bands like Sepultura, Gojira, Messhugah, Soufly, Mudvayne, and many more. The bands inspired Comi to work on Logamulia songs.
In their new band, Comi and Cito were assisted by Ahmad “Apit” Hafidzullah (vocalist) and Pratama Putra Rahardjo a.k.a. Ayi (guitarist). Apit is the vocalist of the Purgatory band, while Ayi plays the guitar for Straighout. For fans of Indonesian metal music, Purgatory and Straighout, it seems like familiar, right?
Comi said Logamulia was his work after leaving Payung Teduh at the end of 2017 but he returned to the folk band in August 2018. “At the first, I wanted to work with Metalsulia after leaving Payung Teduh but I decided to work in the metal genre,” he explained.
He then looked for other personnel. Apit was made as a vocalist because Comi knows him. For Ayi, he was recommended by someone. Cito was a band partner for ten years in Payung Teduh, plus Cito turned out to have been a progressive rock band drummer.
After a deal with it, they agreed to play a groove thrash metal that can make listeners enjoy the song. In June 2019, Logamulia plans to release an album. Wow, it’s worth it.
