Soloevent.id – Only a few hours away, Volcano Rock Festival will rock Boyolali. This concert was held at Pandanarang Stadium on Saturday (05/12/2018) night. The Swedish band that has the top song “The Final Countdown”, Europe, was chosen as the main guest star.
Volcano Rock Festival is the one and only the series of Walk the Earth World Tour in Indonesia. Europe’s first appearance in the country was 27 years ago.
At the Volcano Rock Festival, Europe was accompanied by one of Indonesia’s legendary rock bands, God Bless. The old rockers will act before Europe.
Boyolali Regent, Seno Samodro, said the concert was equipped with 150 thousand watts sound system. “Europe is satisfied with the equipment we provide, it is in accordance with their riders,” he said at a press conference at the Boyolali Regent’s office on Friday (05/11/2018).
Seno hopes that this concert can branding Boyolali Regency as an international event city. If the first edition of the Volcano Rock Festival was successful and penetrated 20 thousand spectators, Seno had prepared several lists of big bands which were planned to be invited to Boyolali. One of the names he called was British heavy metal band Judas Priest.
The press conference session was also attended by Europeans and God Bless. The drummer of Europe, Ian Haugland, said the band would give fans a lot of surprises. He also gave a little leak that Europe would play songs that were well known to people, and of course the material from their latest album, Walk the Earth.
“This will be a hot concert. And the mosquito will drop down to the Earth, “he joked.
For fans who do not have tickets, the committee will open a counter at the venue starting at 12.00 WIB. There are two classes that are still available, namely the Festival (150 thousand Rupiah) and VIP (250 thousand Rupiah).
