Soloevent.id – Dangdut music – especially the Dangdut Koplo – is now starting to get attention in the music industry. In the past, people probably thought again to enjoy Dangdut Koplo, but after Via Vallen and Nella Kharisma hype it, Dangdut Koplo has been increasingly in demand.
Lately, Dangdut Koplo has been light up by a newcomer from Bandung, Feel Koplo. The duo, Maulfi Ikhsan (instrument) and Tendi Achmad Hidayat (re-mixer) conceptualize the Dangdut Koplo with a digital wrap. Lately, their music becomes popular.
In the past, Ikhsan said that he belongs to a dangdut orchestra group. He played Ketipung in the band. Then, he had the initiative to make dangdut music with digital wrap. Later, Tendi comes to give digital touches and makes their music widespread.
“I named this group Pill Koplo, but it was too odd. Finally, the “Pill” replaced with “Feel” so that it could be widespread,” Iksan said at Narendra Restaurant the Sunan Hotel Solo, on Thursday (06/27/2019).
Feel Koplo has their first performance at the Hall of the Halloween Festival in Yogyakarta, November 2018. The euphoria of the audience was enormous and exciting.
“I came by myself on stage in the crowd. Finally, Tendi also came to introduce,” Ikhsan said.
It founded in October 2018, has remixed hundreds of songs, ranging from top 40 songs to indie music. One of them is “New Light” by John Mayer.
By remixed dangdut, they have a mission to make Dangdut Koplo accept by the community. That’s why they use popular songs to remix into Koplo.
Thursday night is the first gig for Feel Koplo in Solo. They were guest stars in Musro The Sunan Hotel, Musro Van Java.
The first appearance of Feel Koplo was greeted enthusiastically by their fans. The Musro was crowded by connoisseurs Feel Koplo. That night, Ikhsan and Tendi shake Musro through Dangdut Koplo remix songs. Some old songs, such as Kisah Kasih di Sekolah, Singkong Dan Keju, Yang Penting Hepi, Bento, successfully hype and light the dance floor.
