Soloevent.id – Sebelas Maret University (UNS) of Surakarta Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP) Fine Arts Education Study Program held the Art Edu Care exhibition.
It is their One decade edition of Art Edu Care exhibition. “For Public, Re-Public” was chosen as a theme to make the visitors understand well about art.
The event featured works from students and alumni of the FKIP UNS Fine Arts Education Study Program, one of which was a mix of media works “Different but Still One Image” which had been exhibited in Art Edu Care #3. The work, which was created on March 12, 2012, illustrated the toughness of the bureaucratic process that made student of the Fine Arts Education full of anger.
That edition is the only Art Edu Care exhibition held in Campus 1 of UNS. At that time, Art Edu Care wanted to be introduced to UNS themselves, but bureaucratic process was not easy. The work would like to convey that bureaucracy is an important process but sometimes it is often overlooked in an exhibition process.
Not only the student and alumni, there are also works of students who are also on display, Awit Khumanggana FS. Pd and Muhammad Praditya Arifian Zein. Their work is in the form of an A4 paper collage sketch.
Fian is a student at Kamila Lazuardi – GIS Middle School who is a student with special needs. However, it is not an obstacle. Even Fian’s hand scratches are extraordinarily unique. His perception draws rarely expected. The works on display in the form of train sketches, sketch scratches and the level of detail are clear in describing the train and the background of the atmosphere in the train.
The #10 Art Edu Care Exhibition Coordinator Anom Muhammad Rais said, “This exhibition is an archive of works from AEC #1 to AEC #9 that we pack in such a way as to introduce artwork to the public,” he said.
In addition to the exhibition, there are a number of other events such as performance art by Punjung, Kerok, Yuan, Jajang, Edwan, Incread, mural delegates by Setsukartoon, Art Edu Chord Performance and many others.
Art Edu Care is an exhibition formed by the anxiety of students about art education which is only underestimated. Then lecturers and students take the initiative to make exhibitions that can have an impact on society. For this reason, Art Edu Care is conceptualized with participatory art.
Art Edu Care #10 was held for five days, 11-15 April 2019 at the Surakarta Central Java Cultural Park (TBJT). The exhibition is opened from 09.00-21.00 WIB. You only need to prepare five thousand Rupiah as an entrance ticket (including Art Edu Care stickers and Book Art Edu Care Digital Barcode Decade).
