The form of delivery of appreciation for art will soon be held at the end of this April. The exhibition titled Solo International Cartoon Exhibition 2014 is planned to be held on 28-30 April 2014. The event was held independently by the Community of Solo Cartoonists Association in collaboration with the Indonesian Cartoonist Association. The event was held at the Solo National Press Monument and they were the inaugural exhibition.
Involving Cartoonists and caricatures incorporated in the world, the event will present at least 250 works that will be exhibited at the exhibition later. About 75 works that were included were the results of national cartoonists. With the theme released by the committee, the participants participating in the event were around 250 participants from Indonesia, Britain, Russia Peru, the United States, Italy, Austria, China, Egypt, Croatia, and the Czech Republic.
Not only that, there was also another activity in the form of a cartoon and caricature workshop for school children. Then caricature together, the Indonesian Cartoonist workshop and the auction of works that will be donated to the Indonesian keroncong music artist (Hamkri) association. Attend and appreciate the work of the nation’s children and the city of Solo at the National Press Monument tomorrow.
