She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Della and Charles Follins, Baton Rouge; son and daughter-in-law, George and Debra Severan, Richmond, Va.; sister, Doretha Carter, Zachary; brother and sister-in-law, William and Queen Adams, Dacula, Ga.; aunt, Christine Adams Parker, Baton Rouge; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. She would often sit with roommates to keep them company and make sure they were comfortable as they passed away.
