Soloevent.id – Widya Rosena is no strange of us. Widya often became an MC at several music shows in Solo. On Saturday (07/06/2019), she stopped by Radio Sevent and shared stories about the beginning of pioneering a career.

Before becoming an MC, Widya worked as a radio broadcaster. “Initially it was broadcast. It got an offer to be an MC from a friend. In 2008, there was a radio event from the market to the market. Because it was fun talking, happy to joke, and happy to meet people, so finally,” she said at the People at Sevent.

The cheerful and casual character makes the program more lively. “It is indeed cablak, yes, so if you MC, it’s rarely a formal event. It’s more about music, wedding, and birthdays,” she said

Fitri Tropica and Indri Barends are Widya’s biggest inspirations when MC. She considered the two artists’ ways when delivering the program to be cheerful and professional, regardless of their mood. “I once had experience; want to go MCs, ride a motorbike, and even hit people. But, yes, the MC must keep going and must be professional,” she recalls.

At the end of the interview, Widya shared some tips for beginner MCs. “There is all the process, the MC also does. First, learn how to talk when you meet people. Position yourself first how do I say, not just MC. You have to be confident when you meet people,” she said.

Aside from being an MC, Widya Rosena also initiated Hello Market with her friends. Hello, Market Solo is a place for small and medium businesses in Solo and surrounding areas to promote their products more widely. However, not all brands can follow Hello Market, because the organizers have their standards for determining participants. The main thing that is assessed is the concept that is delivered and quality.
