Soloevent.id – Chelsea Islan and Samo Rafael finally played horror movies. The two young artists starred in Sebelum Iblis Menjemput, directed by Timo Tjahjanto and produced by Sky Media in collaboration with Screenplay Films.
Saturday (11/8/2018), Chelsea and Samo hold a theater visit at Solo. Previously, they met the media crew first to share experiences about Sebelum Iblis Menjemput.
According to Chelsea Islan, the character he played was challenging because it drained a lot of energy and made her felt a new experience. “This film will never be done in real life, there is no substitute booth and it is really real. This is the first horror film I played.” she said.
For Samo there are some difficult scenes, for animating their own character. This is indeed challenging and mentally too.
Sebelum Iblis Menjemput is shooting for one month in the Puncak Bogor and Jakarta area. Abimana Arsatya was also involved in this movie. However, he is not a player but co-producer.
On the first day of the screening the film got 60,000 spectators. Sebelum Iblis Menjemput can be watched in theaters since August 9, 2018 and planned to be played in Malaysia. This film is also expected to be included in international film festivals.
The Story is telling about Alfie (Chelsea Islan), someone who was always haunted by her dark past. Her mother died mysteriously. When her father, Lesmana (Ray Sahetapy), experienced a mysterious illness, Alfie decided to find out in the ancient house that her father often visited.
She met Maya (Pevita Pearce) and Ruben (Ramo Rafael), her half-brother. Terror and the tense atmosphere arose when they wanted to uncover the mystery of what was happening in her family.
