Soloevent.id – Like in previous years, Prambanan Jazz will bring in international musicians. Kenny G, Sarah Brightman, Boyz II Men, Diana Krall, Boyzone, and others have enlivened Prambanan Jazz.

Who is next?

Rajawali Indonesia and TWC (PT Taman Wisata Borobudur Temple, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko) as promoters of Prambanan Jazz #5 told line-ups during a press conference at Ramayana Shinta Resto Prambanan Temple on Friday (3/15/2019). “This year is more special because there are more artists who perform,” explained CEO of Rajawali Indonesia, Anas Syahrul Alimi.

The one who gets more attention is Yanni. The Greek composer will perform songs from his legendary album, Live at the Acropolis. Anas said, Yanni would invite 63 musicians to play the orchestra. Prambanan Jazz Festival is Yanni’s first stage in Indonesia. Curious? Come on the second day of Prambanan Jazz.

Another musician is Brian McKnight. The 49-year-old singer appeared in the format of The Brian McKnight 4. “Brian McKnight has a different concept.” His song will turn in to the jazz version,” Anas said.

Then, Arturo Sandoval, this Cuban man is a senior musician who has won 10 Grammy Awards.

Do you know “Mimpi” or “Snow on the Sahara”? Yep, Anggun will also join this festival. “Coming from Paris, Anggun will sing totality,” explained Anas.

Prambanan Jazz is going through with the millennial generation. So, they bring in Callum Scott. The soloist who dominated the Billboard charts through “You Are the Reason” will perform on the first day of the Festival Show stage.

“In Indonesia, Calum Scott has a huge fan. During concerts in Indonesia, his tickets sold out. Here, we want the millennial to enjoy Calum Scott in affordable price,” said Anas. FYI, the first day Daily Pass ticket is only IDR 250 thousand.

International artists are brought to attract tourists. “The international artists only perform at Prambanan Jazz. We hope that the Asian fans can come here,” Anas added
