Sharing Memories in KLaboration Concert

Soloevent.id – KLa Project was done with their concert at De Tjolomadoe, Saturday (30/3/2019). The concert was so special because KLa Project collaborated with two young musicians, namely Rendy Pandugo and Midnight Quickie.

That night, Katon Bagaskara et al. opening the concert by singing “Satu Kayuh Berdua” “This concert feels special if you join for singing together,” said Katon on the stage. Katon invited the audience to sing again in the second song, “Prahara”. “Come on, raise your hands up, we sing together,” said the KLa Project vocalist, greeted by the crowd’s shouts.

KLa Project also bring its hits, such as “Menjemput Impian”, “Terpuruk Ku di Sini”, “Tak Bisa ke Lain Hati”.

The atmosphere was even more festive when Rendy Pandugo appeared. He sang “Gerimis” and “Belahan Jiwa”.  In addition to collaborating with musicians, KLa also collaborates with artists from the Indonesian Art Institute (ISI) Surakarta. The song “Pasir Putih” is combined with gamelan and Balinese dance.

The 30-year-old band also included Javanese elements in his music. One of the big hits of KLa Project, “Yogyakarta”, was performed with a Javanese song from a sinden.

At the end of the Memorable Concert KLaboration, Katon duo with Midnight Quickie vocalist, Charita Utami, sing the song “Sambutlah Kasih” and “Tentang Kita”.  The electronic music group also closed the concert that night. Midnight Quicke plays the electronic version of “Yogyakarta” and their single, “Summer Love”.
