Halal Food Festival is Free Doubtful

Soloevent.id – Do you ever feel doubt with what you eat? Just stop by at the Halal Food Festival held on Friday-Sunday (18-20 / 1/2019) at Solo Paragon Mall, you don’t need to hesitate about food or drinks that will be eaten.

The event was held by Tsabita Halal Boga and the first event in Solo was attended by 50 tenants who had received halal certification from the Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI). There are also culinary machine products that are sold.

 

If you like discount, some tenants also offer discounts and promos. For example, every purchase of at least IDR 100,000 in Solo Markiju (Markisa, Kismis, Keju (Passion Fruit, Raisins, Cheese)), Arem Jowo Kuno, and Bolu Kenari Solo, buyers will get a discount  20%. Turkish Doner Bayram King of Kebab also offering buy 3 get 1 free.

Chairman of the Halal Food Festival Committee, Ririn Ekawati, said through this event Tsabita wanted to educate public about halal food. “Halal food has a vast meaning. It’s not just food that doesn’t contain pork and alcohol free. But we explain, starting from the ingredients, processing to the halal sales and later there will also be an explanation of how to get halal certification from the MUI,” she said when met by Soloevent.

When opening the Halal Food Festival, one of the Owners Tsabita Fitri Sundari explained that halal culinary trends are now increasingly sought after by public. People begin to look at food with halal labels for daily consumption. “People have begun to realize the halal food they consume. Education about halal food is still lacking, so in this case we also collaborate with MUI,” she said.

Besides the bazaar, this event was also enlivened by baking demo from Palmia, Wincheez, Chefmate, Cocoa, Saf. There are also story telling competitions and book launches when Ketika Tsabita Bertasbih.
