Soloevent.id – Roti Ganep just celebrated the 138th Anniversary on Saturday (04/27/2019). The legendary shop which has aged more than a century is led by a young woman named Laurensia Liona now.
During a birthday celebration, Liona explained that in carrying out her position as a new leader, she learned a lot from her colleagues who were experienced in management, both from the operational, administrative and product quality aspects.
Graduating from the Department of Business Administration Memorial of the University of Newfoundland, Canada, she had experienced for managing business management from generation to generation. An optimistic, have an open mind and constant desire to learn, she was able to carry out her new duties. Liona also claimed that she still adapted here because she had been living abroad for a long time.
She explained that each generation has its own challenges in managing a business. In the past, the competitors were cramped, no hard work needed. However, as time goes by, competitors are getting bigger, as well as the challenges of running a business.
Before taking control of Roti Ganep, Liona had a lot of work experience in Canada. When returning to Indonesia and taking over leadership, Liona tried to apply what she had learned in the land of people.
Liona is the fourth generation that runs the Roti Ganep business.
